Bishop Mike Okonkwo, MFR, is the Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) and a globally respected teacher of God's Word with decades of ministry impact. His life took a defining turn after a personal encounter with Jesus Christ in 1970, leading to a lifelong commitment to ministry. He was consecrated as Bishop in 1988 and is widely known for his emphasis on the integrity of God's Word and leadership.
He holds honorary doctorates from institutions in the United States and serves on the Board of Directors of Arlington Church, USA. He is the host of the Power in the Word broadcast and the founder of the Empowerment for the Less Privileged Foundation, driving impactful initiatives in education, healthcare, and youth development, alongside authoring several influential books.

A Chartered Architect and Principal Architect at Arthur Reinhold's & Co. Nigeria Limited, he led the design of the Cathedral of His Glory, TREM's international headquarters. He also serves as President of YMCI Consulting, providing strategy and investment guidance. Through platforms like Touched By God This Morning and Intense Worship, Rev. Iyke continues to empower people spiritually while equipping them to thrive professionally and financially.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Benin and a Master's degree in Literary Theory and Criticism from the University of Jos. He is also a graduate of God's Army Bible College, Lagos. Known for his clarity, depth, and structured teaching style, Rev. Samson combines strong communication skills with leadership and administrative excellence, making him highly effective in raising grounded, disciplined, and spiritually mature believers.
